Schezwan Style Chilli Potatoes Recipe

  • 2 Potatoes (sliced)
  • 3-4 tbsp Cornflour or maida
  • to taste Salt
  • Oil (for deep frying)
  • For the base:
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • tbsp Spring onions
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Capsicum sliced
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Schezwan sauce
  • 2 tsp Chilli Sauce


  • 1.First peel and cut your potatoes in a long shape. Then add cornflour to it and fry them till cripsy.
  • 2.In a separate pan then add, some oil, soy sauce, chill sauce, vinegar and mix these well.
  • 3.Then add the chopped vegetables and make a slurry from cornflour. Mix this and then throw in your potatoes.
  • 4.Now add some Schezwan sauce from the top and combine again.
  • 5.Let it cook on low flame for a while. Then serve in a bowl and garnish with spring onions.
