MARINATE CHICKEN

  • ▢1 pound boneless chicken thigh, cut in cubes (450 grams)

SPICES

  • ▢1½ tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • ▢¾ tablespoon red chilli powder
  • ▢½ tablespoon soy sauce
  • ▢1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt , or to taste
  • ▢¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • ▢¼ teaspoon ground turmeric

FLOURS

  • ▢4 tablespoon corn flour
  • ▢3 tablespoon plain flour

OTHER

  • ▢1 egg
  • ▢2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ▢2 tablespoon ketchup
  • ▢1 tablespoon yogurt
  • ▢Oil , to fry

MAKE SEASONING

  • ▢1 tablespoon oil
  • ▢½ tablespoon garlic, minced
  • ▢¼ teaspoon mustard seed
  • ▢8-10 curry leaves, (see notes)
  • ▢6 green chillies, seeds removed and slit in to slices
  • ▢1 teaspoon red chilli powder, (skip it if you don’t like spicy food.)
  • ▢⅓ cup ketchup
  • ▢2 tablespoon water

INSTRUCTIONS

I love Chicken65 Gravy style with roti/naan😍so delicious 🤤 This is not dry wali chicken65, it is with little gravy….

Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken marination
*700gms boneless chicken, cut it cubes
*1 egg, large size
*2tbsp plain flour
*2tbsp cornflour
*2tbsp ginger garlic paste
*3tbsp soya sauce
*3tbsp vinegar
*salt n pepper,to taste
*nutmeg and mace powder,1/4tsp
*red chili powder, to taste
*red food color, few drops or as you like
*oil for deep frying
For gravy
*5 to 6tbsp oil(for gravy)
*2twigs/20 curry leaves
*7 to 8,green chilies slit or use as per your taste
*1 bunch, chopped coriander leaves
*1cup, whipped yogurt
*salt, to taste
*red food color, few drops
Method
Marinate chicken with all the above-mentioned ingredients in the marination list. Let it rest for half an hr. Deep fry in hot oil until chicken is done. Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pot, add slitted green chilies and curry leaves, cook for a min. Add chopped coriander leaves, cook for a minute. Remove the pot from heat and add whipped yogurt. Mix well and put the pot back on the stove. Cook for 2min.Add red food color and salt. Cook for a minute. Add fried chicken and mix well. Cook until oil starts separating from the gravy. You can add little water if the gravy looks dry. Cover and cook on low flame for 3min.Serve with roti/naan/plain rice.

MARINATE CHICKEN

  • ▢Dry chicken cubes thoroughly.
  • ▢In a bowl mix all ingredients to marinate chicken ( Spices, Flours, Other) thoroughly.
  • ▢Set aside for 30 minutes or over night in refrigerator.
  • ▢Just before serving deep fry chicken in a wok on medium heat until golden and crispy. Fry in small batches without crowding the wok.

FOR SEASONING

  • ▢Remove oil from wok, wipe with tissue. In same wok add 1 tablespoon oil and fry garlic, mustard, curry leaves and green chillies for 1 minute on medium heat.
  • ▢Now , add red chilli powder, ketchup and water. Mix well and stir in fried chicken. Coat chicken with seasoning and cook until heated well.
  • ▢Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
